This not an easy game for the Philadelphia Eagles. They'll have their hands full trying to stop the Atlanta Falcons running game. Atlanta does a great job establishing the run and setting the tone early in the game with running backs T.J. Duckett, Warrick Dunn and quarterback Michael Vick. What's really going to hurt the Philadelphia Eagles is that their secondary won't be a factor early in the game. The secondary is the defense's strength and it won't be able to assert it's dominance. Instead the Eagles will have to compete at the line of scrimmage where they may be in trouble. They are going to have to do a good job of using the two safeties and the middle linebacker to make contact with Vick. The Philadelphia Eagles must make the Atlanta Falcons turn to a passing game by getting up early in the game. The most important thing the Eagles can do is bring pressure and to not lose containment on Vick. They must maintain control and bring the safety up to meet him when he runs.
