The inaugural Greenbrier Classic golf tournament is a brand new stop on the PGA Tour's FedExCup schedule of golf tournament events beginning here in 2012. The Greenbrier Classic is replacing the Buick Open which held it's 51st and final event in 2009.
The golf tournament was played for the first time in 2010 on The Old White TPC at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, marking the return of professional tournament golf to a storied and 'refurbished' american golf resort.
