March offers a good variaty of very interesting PGA Tour golf tournaments. The Honda Classic is now a days one of the most famous golf tournaments played at Florida. This tournament was founded in 1972 as the Jackie Gleason's Inverrary Classic.

Some famous golfers have won this tournament (for example Jack Nicklaus in 1977 and 1978) despite this fact it has struggle to get some of the top players to constantely participate on it. Tiger Woods has never taken part of this tournament and this year specially is not going to be the exception. Last year the winner was Y.E. Yang on his first PGA Tour tournament. He hold off John Rollins down the stretch. Yang closed with a 68, finishing at 9-under 271.

The Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation has been the main beneficiary since 2007, which is chaired by Barbara Nicklaus, wife of golfing legend Jack Nicklaus.
