The fight for the Light Heavyweight Belt is going to take place this April 3rd at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino located at Las Vegas Nevada. The fight is going to be televised on HBO Pay-Per-View and is scheduled to start at 11:00 PM ET.

Both of the fighters are very experienced. Roy Jones, Jr. is an American boxer and current NABO and IBC light heavyweight champion. He also won the WBA heavyweight title in his only fight in this weight class. Jones was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 1990s by the Boxing Writers Association of America. As an actor Jones is known for portraying Captain Ballard in The Matrix Reloaded and in the videogame Enter the Matrix.

Bernard Hopkins, known as the Executioner (born January 15, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American boxer. We can include in his winning record a total of 58 fights from which he have won 50. 35 fights were won by KO.

Born to Bernard Hopkins Sr. and his wife Shirley. Bernard grew up in the Raymond Rosen projects with his family. Hopkins turned to crime early in his life, by the age of thirteen he was mugging people and had been stabbed three times. At seventeen Hopkins was sentenced to 18 years in Graterford Prison for nine felonies. While in prison he witnessed rapes and the murder of another inmate in an argument links a pack of cigarettes, but also disclinksed his passion for boxing. After serving almost five years, Hopkins was released from prison in 1988 and decided to use boxing as an escape from his previous life, and converted to Islam.
