The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is an annual season-ending showcase event that is played at the Port Royal golf course in Southhampton Bermuda. This golf course will also be the host of the PGA event for 1212. The players of this event are the four winners of the major championships during the year. The Masters Tournament, the US Open,The Open British Championship and the PGA Championship, this competition is organized byt the PGA OF America and the prize money does not count towards de PGA Tour money list.
The tournament started in 1979, since 1991 it has been played as a 2-day, 36-hole stroke play competitions. From 1979 to 1990, it was played as a 1-day. 18-hole stroke play competition.
From 1994-2006 it was played at the Poipu Bay Golf Course in Koloa, Hawaii on the island of Kauai. The current prize fund is $1.35 million and the first prize is $600,000.
Port Royal Golf Course was founded in 1970 and designed by architect Robert Trent Jones. Sr. Recently, it went through a $14.5 million renovation for the 2009/2010 Grand Slam of Golf.
This year winners of the mayor tournaments are Charl Schwartzel, Rory Mcllroy, Darren Clarke and Bill Hass. The trophy is made up of 5 crystals in graduating sizes, representing the 4 Majors that qualify players to compete in tournament, culminating in the Grand Slam of Golf.

Each Major champion will be grouped with an amatuer team for six holes. Major Champions will be starting on Holes, 1,7,10, and 14.
