UFC 100 has become the fastest sellout in Mixed Martial Arts History. UFC 100 is scheduled for July 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Heavyweights Lesnar and Mir were originally scheduled to face off at UFC 98 on May 23 in Las Vegas, but Mir withdrew from the bout to recover from knee surgery.

The hulking Lesnar (3-1) toppled former champion Randy Couture with a second-round technical knockout at UFC 91 last November to seize the title in only his fourth career bout.

Mir, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, stopped former Pride champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira with strikes in the second round at UFC 92 in December to earn the interim gold. Mir submitted Lesnar with a kneebar in 90 seconds during their first encounter at UFC 81 in February 2008.

UFC 100 will be Further boosted by the featured Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves Welterweight fight, which has all ufc fight fans salivating at the prospect. This is a particularly interesting encounter because St. Pierre is usually far bigger, more powerful, and athletic than his adversaries. But Alves is the real deal on his feet and is just as big. Furthermore, he's extremely athletic.

Also, Dan Henderson will fight Michael Bisping in pivotal middleweight showdown. A USA vs. UK matchup guaranteed to spill some blood!
Bisping has just signed a new 8-fight, two year deal with MMA's leading organisation, and will be pitched against former two-weight world champion Henderson, after the pair were rival coaches on TUF 9.

Bisping was an early selection to coach Team U.K. on the show, which is the first season to use a country-vs.-country format. Henderson won the Team U.S. slot by beating Rich Franklin in January.

The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino have further bolstered July's historic UFC 100 weekend with a Limp Bizkit concert. The rap-metal group performs on the eve of UFC 100, July 10, at Mandalay Bay Beach as part of its "Unicorns N' Rainbows" tour.
