Ultimate Fight Championship has announced that the next venue will be the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The event is scheduled to be on March 27, 2010 fans are excited about having the event back in the USA.
The main fight for UFC 111, is the one between St-Pierre and Hardy, neither of them are from the United States. Pierre is from Canada and Hardy is from England.
Some changes were made to the event Martin Kampmann was originally fighting Ben Saunders, but Kampmann suffered a deep cut during a training practice and was replaced by Jake Ellenberger. Spike TV will be broadcasting UFC preliminary bouts one hour before the PPV broadcast begins, this is another change of the event. Judging by the order of fights on this card, the fights that most likely will be feature on the Spike TV broadcast are Nate Diaz vs. Rory Markham and Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Brown

Georges St-Pierre beat Dan Hardy, the judges have George St. Pierre the victory by unanimous decision. His scores were higher than Hardy's in ever single round. Both fighers did a very good show, but St. Pierre was superb in all his moves, Hardy has several glorious moves but came short to win links George St. Pierre. Georges St. Pierre showed a amazing game and baffled Hardy's chances of a victory, which the odds were against him from the start.

The main fighters are very experienced. George St- Pierre is currently the Welterweight Champion of the UFC, and is ranked as one of the top "pound for pound" fighters by multiple MMA sources. and he is currently ranked by multiple MMA publications as the number-one welterweight in the world. In 2008 and in 2009, he was named the Canadian Athlete of the Year by Rogers Sportsnet, as well as the 2008 Most Outstanding Fighter by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Georges St-Pierre also won fighter of the year by the 2009 World MMA Awards.
Georges St-Pierre was born May 19, 1981 in Saint-Isidore, Quebec, to Jim and Louise St-Pierre. St-Pierre had a difficult childhood, attending a school where others would steal his clothes and money. He started learning Kyokushin karate at age seven by his father and later by a Kyokushin Karate Master to defend himself against a school bully. He took up wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after his karate teacher died, and he also trained in boxing. Before turning pro as a mixed-martial artist, St-Pierre worked as a bouncer at a Montreal Gay night club in the South Shore called Fuzzy Brossard and as a garbageman for six months to pay for his school fees.
On the other hand, Dan Hardy (born May 17, 1982) is an English professional mixed martial artist who competes in the welterweight division. A professional MMA competitor since 2004, Hardy fought in various promotions such as Cage Force and Cage Warriors before signing a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2008. He is the current Cage Warriors welterweight and light-welterweight champion. His nickname comes from the time he spent on the CageWarriors.com forums under the name "The Outlaw". At the time, Hardy was looking for new training partners after his former coach and him could not see eye-to-eye. Hardy is currently ranked by Sherdog as the #4 welterweight fighter in the world.
Dan Hardy had been training in Tae Kwon Do since he was six years old. He moved on when taekwondo went down the Olympic route. He wanted real fights, so switched to Muay Thai instead. Hardy only became interested in Mixed Martial Arts after spending two months in China training with the Shaolin monks in 2002. He then came back to England and competed in amateur MMA tournaments until his professional debut in 2004. Hardy is a member of Team Rough House alongside Paul Daley, Andre Winner and Dean Amasinger. Hardy has also spent time training at Xtreme Couture, Leicester Shootfighters and the Wildcard Boxing Gym. He just received his Purple Belt in 10th planet jiu jitsu from Eddie Bravo.
