UFC 73 odds feature a great slate of excellent fighters and we are excited for it. This event will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California and will feature two title defenses and another great matchup between two major names in the light-heavyweight division. and the huge showdown between Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans. UFC 73 "STACKED" is exactly that, stacked with kick-ass bouts, the biggest fight card of the summer! The UFC Middleweight Championship will be on the line when champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva brings his Muay Thai skills to the Octagon against the 7-time King of Pancrase, Nate "The Great" Marquardt.
Next, Sean "Muscle Shark" Sherk makes his first defense of the UFC Lightweight Championship against Brazilian fighter Hermes Franca. Then, "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz finally returns to the Octagon to face the undefeated winner of The Ultimate Fighter 2, Rashad Evans. Bad Boy Ortiz has the chance to prove to World he still has the skills of a Champion!
As an added bonus, it will be the UFC debut of PRIDE superstar Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira, or "Big Nog" as he goes toe to toe with Heath Herring.
The UFC 73 odds have moved around quite a bit but they appear to be settling in. The main line to keep an eye on is Franca's, it looks good now but could definitely get better.
As always, if you are going to bet, only play with what you are willing to lose. The best value on this card is Hermes Franca at +225. Rashad is a good bet at +115 or better and Bonnar is a solid chalk bet at -300 or better. I would seriously consider a dog bet on Alvin Robinson if his odds hit +400, he would be very undervalued at that price.
