College Football Week 14 is here. That means it’s time to pick the winners of the major college football conference championships. My top parlay picks start in the AAC Championship. Can Memphis cover as a more than TD dog versus UCF? Who has the upper hand in the Conference USA Championship? Favored Florida Atlantic or dog North Texas? For my 3-team parlay, I add a squad from the Mid-American Conference. Is Toledo or Akron the team to back on Saturday?

College Football Week 14 Two-Team Parlay Pick

  • #16 Memphis +7.5
  • Florida Atlantic -9.5

#16 Memphis at #12 UCF
When:  Saturday, Dec. 2 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Spectrum Stadium, Orlando, FL
TV: ABC
Odds: Memphis +7.5

Analysis: Undefeated Central Florida almost handed the game to the South Florida this past Friday on Nov. 24. Every time Central Florida found some breathing room, South Florida came back. It took a catch and fumble for Central Florida to close the deal on the tough Bulls.

For their efforts, Central Florida gets to battle 1-loss Memphis on Saturday in the American Athletic Conference Championship. Memphis is 3 and 1 ATS on the road. The Tigers are also 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 conference games. I’m backing Memphis.

Pick: Memphis

North Texas at Florida Atlantic
When:  Saturday, Dec. 2 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: FAU Football Stadium, Boca Raton, FL
TV: ESPN 2
Odds: FAU -9.5

Analysis: After starting the season going 1 and 3 straight up, the Florida Atlantic Owls have won 8 straight. Due to their better Conference USA record, FAU hosts North Texas in the Conf USA Championship on Saturday.

FAU is 6 and 2 ATS in their last 8 conference games. The Owls punished North Texas 69 to 31 on Oct. 21. Not much has changed since then to assume that North Texas can close the 38-point differential.

Florida Atlanta could score 60 points in this game. The Owls should at least score more than 50. I think -9.5 is a gift. I love Florida Atlantic to cover in this conference championship.

Pick: FAU

College Football Week 14 Three-Team Parlay Pick

  • #16 Memphis +7.5
  • Florida Atlantic -9.5
  • Toledo -17.5

Akron vs Toledo
When:  Saturday, Dec. 2 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
TV: ESPN
Odds: Toledo -17.5

Analysis: Toledo is a nice 10 and 2 straight up. The Rockets are only 7 and 5 against the spread. Toledo has gone 6 and 1 against the spread in their last 7 games. Most handicappers don’t want to lay the 17.5 points.

I’m willing to do it. On Oct. 21, Toledo beat Akron 48 to 21. Akron is 3 and 7 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these 2 teams. The Zips are also 1 and 5 against the spread in their last 6 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game.

Toledo’s hot. I believe they put the peddle to the floor and put the Zips away before halftime.

Pick: Toledo
